Greeneville Lacrosse Club

Youth Program

The purpose of the Youth Club is:

To provide an opportunity for all children eligible for membership to play and compete in the game of lacrosse and develop as players;

To promote physical fitness and good patterns of physical development and to encourage proper conditioning and health habits;

To provide opportunities for social, emotional, and educational development and to encourage peer and family participation; and

To promote good sportsmanship and respect for the game of lacrosse.
The Pioneer's Youth program currently serves players from ages 5 through 14, or roughly Kindergarten through 8th grade.

We are a recreational program, focused on serving children of all experience levels and abilities.

We offer both Boys and Girls Co-Ed programs, with age divisions at the 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U levels, i.e. 6 years of age and under, 10 years of age and under, etc.

The Pioneers play within the region with teams in Bristol, Kingsport, and Blount County.

Practices begin early-March, weather permitting, with regular season games beginning mid-March and running through the third week of May.

A player's "age" is determined by his or her age as of August 31 of the summer prior to the season.

Our philosophy is we want kids playing lacrosse, so if any family needs financial assistance, please reach out to [email protected], and we will get back to you to discuss your situation and come up with a plan to get your kids playing lacrosse!
