Attendance Etiquette
High school and middle school age players are expected to be on-time and attend all practices and games. This means every single player must be fully equipped and ready to take the field by the time practice begins.
Absences without prior communication diminishes the team community.
Should a high school player plan to miss a game or practice, they are expected to contact their coach text or email by 8pm the night before the game or practice.
High school players that miss a practice, game, or are unduly late, due to an unexcused absence could miss playing time.
GLC aims to create a healthy, positive environment by promoting and developing good sportsmanship and encouraging our team members to be hard working, academically and athletically successful, disciplined, respected and high character young men and women, and to foster achievement on and off the field.
All athletes participating in the GLC lacrosse programs are expected to represent themselves, their families, their community, and the GLC with honesty, integrity and character, whether it be academically, athletically or socially.
Participation on GLC teams is a privilege, not a right, and should be treated as such. It has many benefits and offers exciting opportunities, but brings with it a responsibility to be positive and effective members of the team, the GLC and broader community.
Athletes often are in the spotlight and, fair or not, their behavior is subject to scrutiny by their peers and the local community. The actions of one athlete may be imputed to all athletes, and can reflect on other players, the team, and the GLC, both positively and negatively.

In addition to all team and GLC policies, athletes are responsible for complying with all local school policies and city, state and federal laws.
